Consultant Accreditation

NCA Housing has undertaken a selection process to identify consulting firms qualified to provide a variety of services to consortia of social landlords. The selection has been done following an advertisement in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) placed in June 2005.

Payment by consortia using Efficiency Challenge Fund (ECF) monies for consultant services can only be made to consultants accredited by NCA Housing.

Consultants were invited to submit details of their experience (both that of the firm and of the individuals they propose to allocate to projects) in nine specific service lines aimed at supporting their clients in generating sustainable efficiency gains on capital works programmes. The service lines are summarised below.

Some consultants have demonstrated the expertise to provide the full range of services while others are accredited to provide selected services only. Consultants may work on ECF supported projects or programmes only in those service areas for which they have been accredited.  The full list of consultants, the services for which they are accredited and their contact details are given below.

Consortia or individual social landlords wishing to appoint consultants under this framework should first contact NCA Housing, who will advise on the most appropriate way for them to use the framework.

Should the requirements of consortia change or the panel of accredited consultants prove to be insufficient for the demands placed upon it, NCA Housing may carry out a further selection and accreditation process in the future. This would be publicised through the Official Journal of the European Union.
